Butterfinger Cookies (with the new Butterfinger Baking Bits)
My Husband Joe is a huge Butterfinger fan so when I saw these Butterfinger Baking Bits at the store and he’d been complaining that all I ever make are chocolate chip cookies (see I told you I make them a lot) I decided I better get these and try them out. They were a winner and He LOVED them along with the kids and even me (although chocolate chip cookies are still my fave).
Here’s how you make them… Just use my Soft Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe from THIS POST and omit the chocolate chips and add a bag of the Butterfinger Baking Bits and wa-la you will have yourself a delicious Butterfinger cookie, and the Butterfinger lovers at your house will be singing your praises. (You take the credit, don’t tell them you found the recipe on my blog, it will be our little secret:).

So I was reading your post this morning wishing that I had butterfingers in the house. Then I thought that I would grab every piece of chocolate from halloween baskets chop it up and through it in a cookie. They turned out amazing. The cookies are beautiful such a great recipe thanks

Emily, I am so glad you found some butterfingers, I had the exact same thought myself, if you don’t want to buy the Butterfinger pieces you can just raid all the Halloween buckets and I am sure you’ll find enough. That was a good post for the weekend after Halloween:). I am so glad you liked the cookies, and you are such a faithful follower I am so glad you read my posts, it takes so much time so it’s fun to know it’s worth it.

Elaine, I have had the best luck finding them at Wal-Mart and Winco. I’ll look at Target next time I am there and see if I see them there as well but I have always been able to get them at Wal-Mart.
