New

SONY DSCSorry for no new posts this week. I’ve been working on something else that’s new so I haven’t had a lot of time to post. I thought I’d share a picture so you know I am not MIA, just a little bit preoccupied at the moment with this sweet little person. Meet our sweet little Hadlee Jo. She was born May 1st and to say we are in love is an understatement. I hope to flood this blog in the next few weeks with amazing pictures and stories of her along with some cool useful posts as well. I have to admit she fits on this blog perfectly because she is an instant favorite of mine. It didn’t take any amount of experimenting or trying with her, it was instant. She’s a favorite for sure.

Just a short time…

Deb and Crew 6 months_edited-1

As I am getting close to having a baby my thoughts have turned a lot to this little guy who currently is my baby. I keep thinking in my mind he will only be the littlest for just a few more days… Oh how I love this little boy. These pictures were taken when he was 6 months old (He is 18 months old now). I remember seeing this Picture after it was taken and thinking how much I loved it, there is just a short time where you mean EVERYTHING to them, and in his world at that moment I meant everything to him. They trust and love you so completely at that age and so I say savor those short times where you mean everything to them. Every moment counts and every minute matters. I rocked him for a moment before I put him to bed tonight and I enjoyed just holding him and snuggling him. Being a mother is the hardest most rewarding thing I have ever done in my entire life. I can not really put into words or adequately express how much I dearly love being a mom. I am so far from perfect at it but I love it with all my heart. My 7 almost 8 little people mean the world to me and even though sometimes I just want to box their ears I can’t imagine my life without any one of them. They make my life amazing and crazy all at the same time and I love it. So today embrace the craziness and cherish the short times where you mean everything to them and  if they are now 15 or older and you only mean everything to them for a very short part of the day, embrace it and be grateful they need you, because really they still need you all the time, mother’s are irreplaceable, no one loves your children like you do.

Dish Scrubber (your soon to be best friend)

I love this little guy so much, the other day even my son was saying this was his favorite to wash dishes with too. We all spend a lot of time washing dishes, right? Why not do it with something we love? I think that’s what you’ll find after you try this little guy out. It’s small so it fits in a lot of things (the handle doesn’t get in the way) plus I love the edge on the top (I included a picture) this helps so much when there is stuck on food on a dish and you can’t get it off, this handy dandy edge will work wonders for you. I have tried other scrubbers like this and this is by far my favorite, he’s the perfect partner to do dishes with (besides maybe your kids, if they fight while doing dishes then he will for sure be your favorite though), if your kids do dishes like my kids do, they will thank me later. The other upside to this little gadget is it’s so cheap, it will be the best $2.50 you’ve spent in a long time here’s the link on Amazon or I know you can also get them at Target.

*If you are feeling really excited about this little scrubber get two and then you can have one just for scrubbing potatoes and veggies, it works great for that too.

Update– *I just barley clicked on the link to see if they price had changed since when I had actually written the post and it had, it was like $2.50 a week or 2 ago but now it is 7 something. If you don’t want to spend $7.50 on it you can get it at Target in their cleaning section for around $3.
